Privacy Policy

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information — your name, email address, password (stored encrypted), and profile photo.
• Business information — the business/organization you create or join, including its name, code, industry, city, branch, and department.
• Trip and operational data — trips, LR numbers, assigned trucks and drivers, routes, cargo category, quantity, rate, and budget.
• Expense data — fuel, toll, DEF, repair, and other costs logged against a trip or truck, including amounts and notes.
• Photos — a driver selfie captured at the moment of starting a trip, completing a trip, or logging an event (e.g. a fuel stop), used to confirm the driver was actually present for that action. Additional evidence photos may be attached by a supervisor during an audit.
• Location data — precise GPS coordinates captured at the moment a driver starts a trip, completes a trip, or logs an event.
• Device information — your device's battery level at the time of logging an event, and standard technical data such as IP address and browser/app version.

FleetPlus uses location data to verify where a trip event actually took place and to show your business's admins and supervisors where their drivers and trips are. Location is captured only at the moment a driver performs an action (starting a trip, completing a trip, or logging an event) — FleetPlus does not continuously track a driver's location in the background. Because location verification is core to how the app works, a driver cannot log an event without it.

Selfies and evidence photos are uploaded to secure cloud storage (Amazon Web Services) and linked to the trip or event they were taken for. They're visible to the admins and supervisors of the same business, for verification and audit purposes.

Like most services, our servers automatically record information that your browser or app sends whenever you use FleetPlus ("Log Data"). This may include your IP address, device type, app version, the pages or endpoints you accessed, and timestamps. Log data is used to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.

The FleetPlus web app stores your sign-in session in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in between visits. We don't use third-party advertising cookies or trackers.

Data you or your drivers enter is visible to the other admins and supervisors within the same business — that's how a fleet management tool works. FleetPlus does not sell your personal information, and we don't share it with third parties except: (a) service providers who help us run the platform (e.g. our cloud hosting and storage provider), bound to protect it, or (b) where required by law.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted passwords and access-controlled, time-limited upload links for photos. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so while we work to protect your data, we can't guarantee absolute security.

We retain your information for as long as your account or business remains active, or as needed to comply with our legal obligations. To request deletion of your account and personal data, submit this form: Account Deletion Request Form. We'll process deletion requests within 48 hours, except where we're required to retain certain records (e.g. financial or audit records) for legal or regulatory reasons. FleetPlus is a business tool and is not directed at, or intended for use by, children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

FleetPlus may contain links to third-party sites or services that are not operated by us. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
